I was recently commissioned by Baking & Snack, a trade magazine focused on industrial bakeries, to take pictures to illustrate an article about Aspire Bakeries, located in Newark, CA. Aspire Bakeries is renowned for its frozen baked goods and offers a diverse range of products, including breads, artisan breads, buns, cookies, donuts, muffins, and pastries, featuring well-known brands like La Brea Bakery, Otis Spunkmeyer, and Oakrun Farm Bakery.
This type of assignment is especially gratifying for me, as it provides the opportunity to explore and learn about new manufacturing processes while capturing images in a creative and photojournalistic manner. It’s a chance to engage with the subject matter in a unique and visually stimulating way.
